Growing up Southwick

  

I grew up here fishing on the lakes and streams, hunting, playing hockey on the ponds, Rec-center sports- it was a wonderful place to grow up. Our 400+ acres of lakes are a critical feature of the town. It is an economic catalyst for so many areas. Real estate, recreation, commerce. We must ensure we protect this valuable resource.

Our open space and farmland are just as important- they are the foundation of who we are. However, we must embrace development to grow or even exist as we are today. I believe focused development, done the right way, in the right areas can solve a lot of problems and support what made us who we are.
